All-Terrain Wheelchair Reservations

Can I use the all-terrain wheelchair on my own?
You are required to have a companion with you during the duration of your use of the all-terrain wheelchair. Additional information on this requirement is provided in the user agreement.

Will someone at the park help me transfer into the chair?
Park Staff is not permitted to assist with transfers. Please ensure that your companion is capable of assisting you, if needed. Transfer boards are available; please inquire at the information desk.

Can I take the all-terrain wheelchair anywhere I want in the park?
The all-terrain wheelchair should remain on designated trails. This for your safety as well as to preserve the natural habitat of the park. 

Can I take the all-terrain wheelchair inside the Visitor Center or other buildings?
The all-terrain wheelchair is not permitted inside any buildings in the park. This includes Visitor Centers and Bathhouses.

Can I take the all-terrain wheelchair outside of the park?
The all-terrain wheelchair must remain inside the park and on designated trails only.

Can my child or my dog ride in my lap?
Only the user may be seated in the all-terrain wheelchair. Dogs must be leashed and led by your companion or other member of your party.
