We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization working to increase accessibility of outdoor recreation in Arkansas.
Our Mission
Our mission is to facilitate therapeutic access to the abundant outdoor recreational activities that Arkansas has to offer by providing adaptive equipment and accessibility consulting services to organizations in Arkansas that specialize in outdoor recreation.

Our History
2019
SEPTEMBER 2019
Amanda is involved in an accident that results in her need for mobility aids.
2021
OCTOBER 2021
After experiencing firsthand the need for improvements to accessibility in outdoor recreation, Amanda decides to form a nonprofit whose work it will be to focus on these improvements in Arkansas.
2022
SEPTEMBER 2022
After months of nonprofit research and a search for board members, a Board of Directors is assembled and the Articles of Incorporation are filed. Accessibility Across Arkansas officially becomes a nonprofit organization in the State of Arkansas.
2023
AUGUST 2023
Accessibility Across Arkansas becomes a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
NOVEMBER 2023
Accessibility Across Arkansas enters into a formal agreement with Arkansas State Parks to work together to bring all-terrain wheelchairs to state parks.
2024
JANUARY 2024
Accessibility Across Arkansas is awarded a Quality of Life Grant from the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation. This grant will be used to purchase a Trackchair for the All-Terrain Wheelchair Program.
MAY 2024
Logoly State Park is announced as the location for the first Trackchair that will be available in Arkansas State Parks.
AUGUST 2024
The All-Terrain Wheelchair Program is launched. Reservations open for the Trackchair at Logoly State Park.
